Welcome to InKing Royalty’s February Blog Hop! This year’s hops are inspired by our favorite shapes and favorite colors – today’s projects showcase some of Stampin’ Up!’s amazing shades of red.

I decided to pull out my current favorite stamp set to make this month’s card! I love tacos, guac, and margs so this set is perfect for me! I started by cutting a 3″X3″ square in my whisper white cardstock. I cut each color strip to 1.25″x3.25″. I think started cutting the fringe strips. Fun fact: Stampin’ Up! once had fringe scissors that would cut the fringe strips. I then glued each strip down onto my card base. Once adhered, I added the the cut out cardstock on top. I stamped the chili peppers free handedly. That’s another favorite for me, stamping images with no rhyme or reason! I stamped and cut out the large chili pepper. I stamped all of the chili peppers in Memento ink first then colored in Shaded Spruce and Real Red. I stamped the sentiment last and used the same colors.
We are excited to share our creations and hope you love them! After you read my post, I hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.
